Attorney Albert Unger

Attorney Unger is a life long resident of the Westover section of Stamford. His family has been a part of the fabric of the Westover/Riverside/Old Greenwich/Cos Cob area for over 50 years. He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut in Storrs, and Quinnipiac University School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Connecticut, including Federal District Court.

Attorney Unger’s real estate finance education and his experiences as a local residential Realtor lead him to focus a large percentage of his time on real estate law. Attorney Unger works with condominium associations, residential and commercial buyers and sellers, banks, borrowers, foreclosure litigants, and landlord-tenant litigants, as part of his real estate practice. Among his other practice areas are business law, and juvenile/family matters. Attorney Unger often has the opportunity to interact with Kids in Crisis in Greenwich as part of his work representing children in need.

Attorney Unger prides himself in setting himself a part from other professionals with the kind of service he provides. He understands you are hiring him, not his paralegal, and it’s the office policy that all calls and emails are to be returned in 24 hours or less. The goal is to create life long relationships and repeat clients, not one time customers.

In June 2007 Attorney Unger was named one of Fairfield County’s “40 Under 40”, an honor bestowed upon him by the Fairfield County Business Journal in concert with virtually all of the local Chambers of Commerce in Fairfield County along the I-95 corridor.

He is currently a member of the following organizations: Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, Stamford Board of Realtors, Connecticut Board of Realtors, Fairfield County Bar Association, and the Norwalk Chamber of Commerce.
